Looking positive for Cashews – price has moved up 10C on the wholes, and last couple weeks has seen a lot of buying. It’s now the cheapest quality nut by quite a significant amount. In general the price has been relatively stable for the past 18 months. The broken grades almost 12 months ago, however, were half the price. Good spread throughout the product. Huge consumption of pieces in India has created a problem for us, because of huge domestic demand in India especially for powder.
