Here we have the 2016 Objective Estimate report along with the June 2016 Position Report.
The Objective number has come in at 2.05 Blbs which is 2.5% higher than the Subjective report but much lower than industry’s expectations of 2.15-2.20 B lbs.
The June shipment report is 15.4% higher than last June with strong shipments into China, India, Germany and Spain.
With the lower than expected Objective number along with the strong June shipment figure, we have seen the market move up 15 cents per lb on most grades of Californian almonds.
