Greek Referendum Results

The results are out, and the Greeks have voted NO. The Greek people have spoken and have overwhelmingly refused a deal of billions of euros in exchange for more cuts and austerity measures .

It was a decisive victory for Mr. Tsipras and his radical left Syriza party, elected in January with a mandate to roll back the austerity measures demanded by Greece’s creditors.

They have basically voted no to their bailout, no to austerity, and, quite possibly, no to the euro itself.  The next few days are crucial as we wait to hear what the European Central Bank does in the next few days.
