SDG 6: Clean Water Supply

  • Reading time:3 mins read

Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) stands as a beacon for accessible and sustainable water and sanitation management. This goal addresses eight key targets, focusing on the fundamental human right to clean water and sanitation.

At Freeworld, we proudly contribute to two shared future projects that align with SDG 6. The first of these projects introduced a fresh water supply system to Asağıdağ village in Turkey. This initiative bolstered one of the existing water sources, ensuring a sustainable source of potable water for seasonal workers and the village’s residents. This project embodies a determined stride towards improved living conditions and overall well-being for this rural community.

The second project is in progress within the El Chorro community of Bolivia. Acknowledging the dormant state of the existing water supply and its maintenance needs, there is a plan to transform this into a clean and healthy water source. The project scope resonates with the core aspects of basic living conditions, making a swift impact on the community’s immediate well-being. This part of the El Choro project embodies the commitment to sustainable water management and improving living standards.
