Moreover, we analyse the effects the recent drought in Turkey has had on the 3 main crops we trade &#8211; sultanas, hazel nuts and apricots. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.freeworld-trading.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/610_deepjungle_brazil-nut.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.freeworld-trading.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/610_deepjungle_brazil-nut.jpg\" alt=\"610_deepjungle_brazil-nut\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2339\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We also talk about the importance of the brazil nut tree, endemic to the Amazon rainforest. About 1% of all the tree species in the Amazon account for half of the carbon locked in the rainforest, a Nature  Communications journal has estimated. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com\/ncomms\/2015\/150428\/ncomms7857\/full\/ncomms7857.html\">study<\/a> has estimated. The Brazil nut tree is dense, occupying a huge biomass and thrives best in the dense rainforest. <\/p>\n<p>Also the major development has happened in the nut industry. At the AGMs held at the Queen\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Club, London, on Friday 24th April 2015,  the Combined Edible Nut Trade Association and the British Peanut Council formally joined together to form The Nut Association Limited.
